SENCO
We seek to appoint an inspirational
SENCO to work as part of our senior leadership teams at V.A.S.E. Academy.
You will be responsible for supporting young people across these schools that need extra assistance, taking responsibility for the day today high quality in class and intervention support for our pupils, enabling them to make good progress in their learning.
The successful applicants will need:
- Must hold a
SENCO Qualification - Make a valuable contribution to the offering that young people receive at the school as part of the provision of highquality teaching and learning.
- Have experience of working effectively with local authorities.
- Have a passion for ensuring all young people succeed.
- Be able to work effectively within a supportive, committed, and successful staff team.
- Have high aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.
- Have a robust understanding of SEND Code of practice
- An understanding of SEMH education and how support the additional needs associated with SEMH pupils.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£25,750.00-£28,750.00 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:
SENCO: 2 years (preferred)- SEN: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
