My client is a manufacturing organisation in Manchester.

Due to growth of the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance team, this company have plans to continue their growth which creates a fantastic opportunity for development and progression within the business.


As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for a variety of duties in relation to the management of the purchase ledger.

This will include processing invoices accurately and efficiently onto the system, dealing with supplier queries, processing payment runs and reconciling supplier statements.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved with process improvements and the implementation of the new finance system which will enhance your knowledge and experience.


The client is considering different options for the post and as such the salary ranges from £24,000 - £30,000 dependant on the experience you will be bringing to the organisation.

If you have extensive purchase ledger knowledge and have improved processes previously then this will warrant the higher end of the salary and you will brought in as a specialist as opposed to a clerk.

You will be office based five days a week and will have the opportunity to progress your career and earning potential as the company continues to expand.
