Description

About the role:

It's an exciting time to join the Marketing and Proposition team here at AXA Health.

To help develop our new, digital proposition portfolio for new channels and audiences, we're looking for a talented individual to join the team.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract.

As Category Lead - Insured Propositions, you'll lead the proposition development of both new and existing private medical insurance (PMI) products at AXA Health.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop our new digital PMI propositions for new channels and audiences.
  • Lead the insight through to execution phases for new propositions in associated markets. For example Optical and Travel.
  • Develop concepts and business models for new propositions outside of core private medical insurance.
  • Work with our Digital Delivery and Change teams to ensure that the 'What?' and 'Why?' of new propositions are understood and executed.
  • Manage and coach a team of two, implementing strong development plans to support a high performing team.
  • Work with the Proposition Performance Management team to understand the outcomes of all propositions from a customer and business perspective.
  • Ensure there is a strong risk management framework in place to govern proposition development.
  • Make sure risks are continuously identified, assessed and mitigated in line with AXA protocols.

About you:

What we're looking for:

  • Seniorlevel experience within a Product Proposition Development role, ideally in a Health Insurance environment or other regulated sector.
  • Working knowledge of translating customer insight and testing into both compelling digital customer journeys but also clear and transparent policy wording.
  • Working understanding of the regulation relating to product design in a regulated business. For example PROD or Consumer Duty.
  • Endtoend management experience of the proposition development lifecycle, from insight to execution.
  • Proven experience of taking digital propositions to market. Including road mapping, prioritisation of resource, UX design, and creation of user requirements.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing risk within a regulated business.
  • Budget and business case management expertise.
  • People and leadership skills.
  • Experience of delivering to senior stakeholders, internally and externally.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer:

At AXA UK, we're appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that.

You can expect to receive:

  • Competitive annual salary of up to £90,000 dependent on experience
  • Discretionary company & performancebased bonus
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions)
  • Cash car allowance £5,200
  • Private health cover
  • Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary)
  • 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leave
  • AXA employee discounts
  • Gym benefits
