If you are passionate about working within the education sector and have a goal to help young people achieve the future they deserve, being an Education Coordinator is the role for you.

An Education Coordinator helps to organise the charity's programs and make sure they run smoothly, build on existing partnerships with schools, also build on ideas for the charity's future as well.

The individual will also help young people by providing them with a roadmap for their careers after they leave secondary school.

This would be to advise young people on different pathways they could take to reach their goal. In being an influential
Education Coordinator Manager, you must also love helping people, and most importantly be enthusiastic and empowering. You would also have to be familiar with providing students with the skills for immediate employment.


About US:

The Us Charitable Trust is a registered charity began in 2012. We are based in Harlesden,
London, and work with 1000 marginalised 11-18 year olds a year.


What we are looking for in you:

  • This position requires a highly motivated team-player with the ability to deliver a high level of interactive service, develop and maintain collaborative relationships inside and outside of the US Charitable Trust.
  • Possess the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously with high levels of accuracy, proactively solve problems, as well as achieve goals within or ahead of established time frames.
  • The individual must be detail oriented, work well under pressure, possess excellent communication, technical and database skills accompanied by good organiational skills and proficient computer skills using the Microsoft Suite of Office Applications.
  • The individual must demonstrate the ability to work well with students, faculty and staff and occasionally partner projects, at all levels within a diverse, multicultural, collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities:


  • Organising events and workshops
- be able to proactively identify and respond to the needs of students and/or partner schools/or other partnerships.
- be able to gather, disseminate and share best practice
- work with clients to solve their problems using education theory
- be able to present your ideas and solutions in an effective way
- use, develop, and support assistive technologies
- understand how to work with teachers, young people, leaders, and organisations
- work to a professional code of ethics and remain impartial.
- developing teaching and learning materials
- creating new teaching and assessment strategies, education, and career plans
- delivering materials to a group or individual that needs particular support.

  • High levels of problemsolving, the individual would need to be able to adapt to a fast paste scenario and be able to act safely and follow relevant education protocols.
  • Support the Us Charitable Trust team with the ongoing creation and optimisation of our adaptable campaigns and social media.
  • Come up with ideas that are creative and engaging to put out across our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Toktok, and more as they arise.
  • Analyse and report back to the Us senior management team, what is and isn't working and your recommendations for improving performance.
  • Encourage our students to share their stories and experiences on social media so that we can champion their images and videos across our marketing channels.

Salary:
£25,000 Annual

Full-time hours: 9 am-5 pm


Relevant qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Level 4 gained

Hybrid working


Please note that there will be a 3 months trial period, then a full-time permanent position following the trial period.
