Head of Sales - EMEA

ZL Technologies is seeking an experienced sales leader to join our growing company's leadership team as Head of Sales for EMEA.

This person will grow, lead, and inspire large-enterprise sales teams in the territory, with a view to driving pipeline and generating revenue.

This is first-person-on-ground role, with an immediate remit to hire enterprise sales individuals.


Responsibilities

• Start creating engagements with strategic prospects and partners in the region.
• Hire, lead and retain a team of high performing enterprise sales individuals.
• Create and execute a world class sales plan for the region.
• Manage and inspire sales staff, including creating a positive and results oriented sales culture.
• Monitor and manage sales performance.
• Onboard, equip and coach new sales team members.
• Represent ZL Technologies at industry trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events.

Requirements:


You will need:

• A substantial and successful track record in an IT field sales leadership role for a vendor of data management or related complex software solutions.
• Some background in growing sales teams and managing sales teams in a high growth environment.
• Experience selling complex IT solutions to large enterprise, including banking and other financial services.
• Preferably, experience of being one of the first people on the ground in a new territory.
• A good understanding of enterprise IT concepts and processes.
