National Express have a fantastic opportunity to join our Training Team as a
Driver Training Officer, based in Fareham.


What you'll do...

  • To assist in the planning, development and delivery of all aspects of proactive driver recruitment and Group training programmes as directed, within available resources and to agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Support the business in ensuring it has sufficient qualified PCV drivers to meet operational demand and quality standards, whilst at all times meeting or exceeding prevailing legislative requirements.
  • Deliver all directed activities concerned with Group vocational training requirements, ensuring a collaborative, communicated andunified approach from all companies.
  • Assist in the provision of specific training, including Lucketts Workplace Inductions, to nondriving staff and undertake duties
  • Maintain records relating to workplace Health & Safety as directed.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications Required

  • Hold a valid clean PCV (Catagory D) Licence for a minimum of 3 years
  • Must have a people development focused approach and outlook
  • Must be organised, flexible and adaptable
  • Must be a strong communicator
  • Previous training experience and relevant qualifications would be an advantage
