Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their purchases by providing product information.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading their vehicles.
- Maintain the yard by sweeping and keeping the area clean and tidy.
- Keep the yard safe by following all safety procedures and reporting any hazards to the Yard Foreman.
- Picking/Packing Order Tickets
- Reporting stock issues
- Assist Loading of Delivery Vehicles
- Offloading suppliers' deliveries
- Ensuring any damages are reported to the merchant manager.
- Providing general assistance within the merchants as required.
- Drivers Mate / Delivery Assistant when required.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
