Description

We are looking for a pressure washer/yard person who will be based at our Tewkesbury depot.

The work within the role will include, the pressure washing and cleaning of our plant and equipment on the fleet.

This will include the washing of large plant with excavators up to 22 tonne and dumpers up to 9 tonne and other large equipment and high volumes of tools which have been returned to us by our customers following a period of hire.

This is primarily a role which is yard based is carried out in all winds and weathers, it is physically demanding and will involve the washing of very dirty plant and equipment.

The successful applicant will ideally have and eye for detail and have the capability to continually clean plant and equipment to a high standard, to allow our engineers to carry out the necessary inspection and maintenance work on it before it is offered for hire to our customers.

The successful applicant will also be required to keep the washdown point and the yard tidy, clean and free of dirt and debris, daily dipping of the pits reporting to the workshop supervisor.

Training will be given in the washing process and in the moving of plant and equipment.

The successful applicant will also need to be happy to work as part of a team.

A driving licence is not required for this role, however it would be advantageous. The basic hours are 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm.

We currently offer 23 days holiday a year plus bank holidays.

All necessary corporate workwear and personal protective equipment including wet weather clothing is provided.

From £10.50 per hour
