  • Situated in Hove close to the sea, the Lighthouse is a specialist service for people over the age of 18, living in Brighton and Hove who are experiencing Personality Disorder (PD) and emotional intensity. Southdown delivers the Community Programme for the service with clinical inreach from Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) and peer support from Mind Brighton and Hove (MBH).

The role:


  • Working alongside clients and the other organisations that make up the partnership to foster a collaborative approach to recovery.
  • Facilitating social and creative activitiesbased groups to engage members in selfmanagement, developing personal skills and increasing wellbeing.
  • Completing 2:1 engagement sessions with members for taskfocused activities around accessing groups, care planning, risk management and moveon

What will you bring:


  • Experience of supporting people with complex emotional difficulties to achieve recovery goals
  • Experience of facilitating groups
  • Resilience and capacity for selfreflection, both individually and within the team
