As Team Leader - you lead by example, supporting the General Manager and Assistant Manager in the management of the accommodation, heading up 'Team true' to instil a market leading true life living experience for our guests as we endeavour to become the most loved student accommodation brand.

What you will be doing

  • You are a welcoming face of true ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and a fond farewell.
  • You will be a key point of contact for our guests answering questions, dealing with issues or concerns and responding to complaints.
  • Provide reception desk support, including front desk and telephone support, assisting with parcel deliveries and day to day queries.
  • Accommodation show arounds and supporting the sales team.
  • Working in line with the accommodations budget.
  • Supporting the General Manager to ensure a range of opportunities and events for our guests.
  • Supporting the General Manager to ensure all Health & Safety requirements are carried out
  • Managing the performance of all team members
  • Ensuring team members training is up to date
  • Supporting and ensuring delivery of our market leading true life events programme.
  • Coordinating guest check in and check out, ensuring processes are in place and working and overseeing termly room inspections.
  • Managing contractors and visitors and ensuring procedures are followed.
  • Assisting in the day to day operations including responding to maintenance requests and the general upkeep of the accommodation
  • Dealing with concerns or issues as a second point of contact after the front of house team

Are you a true Superstar?

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years management experience at management/supervisory level
  • Duty Manager/Key holder experience within the hospitality/student accommodation sector is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. You have previous experience in managing a team.
  • You will be friendly and fun with a positive personality.
  • Able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the business. Evening and weekend working may be required.
  • You will have previous front facing, customer service experience in a similar role.
  • A strong ability to problem solve, multitask, plan and organise.
  • Ensures a high standard of appearance

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
£23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
