SATs & GCSE Tutor

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SATs & GCSE tutor to join our team.

As a tutor, you will be responsible for tutoring a small group of students preparing for their SATs or GCSE exams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that help students achieve their academic goals
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents/guardians
• Adjust teaching methods as needed to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Administer practice tests and provide testtaking strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the SATs and GCSE curriculum and testing format
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience tutoring or teaching students in a oneonone or small group setting
• Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Familiarity with online tutoring platforms and technology
• Ability to pass a background check

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3-6 months

Part-time hours: 6 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
• Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
