Description
Join our team as a Part Time Support Worker at our Supported Living Scheme.

You will be part of team who together provide 24-hour support to adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health difficulties across 3 separate services in Sheerness, Kent.


Our Supported Living team helps our tenants with all of their daily activities so that they can lead independent and rewarding lives.

As a support Worker, you will have the opportunity to help our tenants to

  • Promote their rights and express themselves
  • Manage their emotional and communication needs
  • Undertake their dailylife skills, such as budgeting, shopping, laundry, cooking, and cleaning
  • Engage with the wider community by attending appointments and social occasions
  • Make the best of life through fun and laughter

Working Hours:

This position requires availability exclusively on weekends. You will work Saturday and Sunday, providing essential support to our residents during these times. The working hours will be discussed further during the interview process.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF A SUPPORT WORKER

  • A keen sense of fun
  • Care Certificate (not essential).
  • Past experience of assisting people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour (preferable)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
