SF Recruitment have partnered with a fantastic business based in Derby who are looking for a Credit Controller to join a fast paced and dynamic wider finance team.

This is ideally an office based role with some flexibility around start and finish times.

There is an attractive package on offer as well as the opportunity to work from their state of the art, modern offices.

Job Purpose
To form part of a busy transaction processing function, processing customer invoices and collecting cash.

Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:

Allocating cash to customer accounts
Processing customer receipts
Liaising with customers on payment and payment issues
Liaising with sites on customer credit issues.
Setting up customer accounts
Other ad hoc office duties, including providing cover for the Credit Controller as needed and responding to queries from internal functions

Desired skills and experience of the Credit Controller:

Previous Credit Control experience
Well organised with a strong attention to detail
Personable capable of working within a busy team, and confident when liaising with representatives from other functions
Professional and confident when dealing with customers, sometimes in challenging circumstances.
Continuous improvement mindset proactive in identifying and suggesting areas for improvement in role and function.
IT literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and finance processing systems.
An individual either possessing a diploma from the Institute of Credit Management, or with an interest in developing to study for the diploma would be preferred
