We are looking for a lovely Head Receptionist who will provide a friendly and exceptional service to our clients and their animals. We are located in a lovely old converted barn which used to be part of a large farm in Pinner. At a short stroll from us is the Metropolitan line in Northwood Hills, with easy access to central London.

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week with a rotating rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays (although this could change).

No out of hours shifts and no bank holidays. You will need to be available to work until we close at 7:30pm some evenings, depending on the rota.

As a Head Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, interesting and no day is ever the same

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong leadership skills. Experience managing teams will be highly beneficial. Previous receptionist or customer facing experience is essential. Previous veterinary industry experience would also be highly beneficial.

You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and also show empathy towards everything that is thrown at you, from sharing the excitement of a puppy's first visit to the vets or comforting a client who has received some bad news.

The starting salary for this position will be from £22,000 depending on experience.
