We are looking for a Female Support Worker to provide Part-time hours (either 18
or 24 hours per week) support for a woman with a brain injury in their own home.

Pay:
£12 p/h (long days / waking nights)
You will be expected to work with a woman with a brain injury, supporting them within their own home on a 2:1 basis.
All necessary training will be provided for the role along with supervision and support.
What you'll get up to:
- Working with a service user with disability at home and in the local community
- Providing personal care
- Providing nutritional meals for the service user as directed by therapist
- You'll accompany the service user in the community
- You'll accompany the service user on holidays and weekends away when required
- You'll carry out domestic duties in the service user's house as appropriate
- You'll work alongside the service user's therapists and assist with agreed rehabilitation strategies and techniques

- Experience caring for someone in their own home
- Non smoker with good mental & physical stamina
- Must have a full and valid UK driving license
- At least 3 years experience is required in health and social care
Preferences:
- Experience of working with a person with a brain injury
- Experience of working 'waking nights'
- Nonsmoker
Details (waking nights / long days):
- Permanent contract with a 6 month probationary period
- You will be employed by the service user but managed by the Case Manager
- You will receive initial training and induction and regular supervision with the Case Manager
- 5.6 weeks paid leave. Two weeks leave (i.e, a half of your annual leave entitlement) must be taken when the service user is on holiday.
- You'll attend a 5day accredited training programme
