Absolute is currently partnered with a manufacturing business with a real family feel based in Hemel Hempstead, seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant.

The role is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in all aspects of transactional finance, who is looking to continue their career in a supportive environment.

With full on the job training.
Working in an energetic team of 5 in finance, to work towards the common goal producing monthly accounts.

What you will be doing:

  • Controlling the full Accounts Payable function
- processing supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, and reconciling statements

  • Credit control responsibilities
- chasing outstanding invoices according to the company procedure.

  • Bank reconciliations and entering bank transactions daily
  • Working in multicurrency's to reconcile the banks
What's on offer?
Salary £28,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Hemel Hempstead

To be considered for the role

  • You will have 3 years+ experience as an Accounts Assistant
  • Multicurrency experience preferred but not essential
  • Perfect verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of double entry bookkeeping
  • Able to achieve deadlines and handle a heavy workload
