Are you looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant role where you can expand your skills and work within a vibrant and friendly school in Hemel Hempstead? We are hiring

We have multiple positions in Hemel Hempstead for experienced, kind and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to join a lovely SEN school.

Key Information:

Monday-Friday full time
8:453:30
Term Time only
Weekends off
Both temporary and permanent positions available
Onsite parking
Training and support available to you throughout the role if needed

Your Daily Responsibilities

Prepare learning materials
Adapt your support for each pupil depending on their individual needs
Look after the physical, social and emotional welfare
Keep a positive attitude as well as keep the environment interesting and stimulating
Keep records of the pupils progress and attend review meetings
Be able to work along other professionals such as speech and language therapists

Skills Required:

Sensitivity and understanding
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Flexible and open to change
Excellent verbal communication skills
Active listening skills
The ability to understand people's reactions

You will need:

An enhanced DBS on the update service, if you do not currently have one then we can assist you in getting one
Experience as a teacher assistant and working with SEN either in or outside the educational setting.
