Eden Brown are seeking a highly efficient Mental Health Support Worker on a permanent basis in Sheffield


The role will be worked Monday - Friday over a 39 hour a week offering flexi time across the working week.


Responsibilities include

:


  • Deliver 1:1 support to clients in line with the goals set out in their support plan
  • Keep up to date, accurate and professional recordings of support delivery
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals involved in clients support
  • Work flexibly as part of the staff rota to ensure safe staffing levels are met
  • Encourage and support service users to take part in activities
  • Encourage service users to contribute fully to their care and support plan
  • Support service users with personal administration, form filling and making benefit claims as necessary

Qualifications / Requirements

:


  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues in a paid or voluntary capacity.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
    Business insurance will be required.

  • An understanding of relevant legislation relating to vulnerable adults
  • Experience of working in partnership with Local Authorities and Health/Social Care professionals
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred
  • Intermediate IT skills which must include Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Effective and clear written communication skills in report writing, risk assessments and form completion
  • Excellent timemanagement skills
