Description
To facilitate organisational mandatory training, to meet compliance and regulatory requirements and contribute to planning/delivery To organise and deliver high quality induction for clinical and non-clinical staff and volunteers, and the development, communication and review of individualised learning plans To support clinical educators and the knowledge exchange team with staff continued professional development To promote high quality, personalised end of life care To maintain an effective learning environment Work collaboratively with other teams to support learning and development, including IPU, Hospice at Home.
Contribute to the review and updating of hospice competencies Update self on a regular basis regarding any changes in assessment practices and cascade all information to relevant colleagues/volunteers to maintain standards and quality of assessments Participate in evaluation and audit in order to monitor effectiveness and impact of learning on practice Support teaching and training in a range of health care settings (Community, Nursing Homes, Care Homes, GP Practices, other Charity settings including Hospices) to promote high quality, personalised care associated with palliative and end of life care needs as appropriate To support education programmes for undergraduate medical, nursing and AHP studentsMore jobs from St Catherine's Hospice
