NHS Tayside has an exciting vacancy for a System Support Specialist to work within the Endpoint Services Team as part of NHS Tayside Digital Directorate who provide critical Digital Services to all NHS Tayside facilities including Hospitals, GP Surgeries, and Primary Care sites.


What we are looking for:


We are looking for an experienced Support Specialist to join the team, who support over 14,000 PCs and Laptops, and form a key part of the Digital Support function for colleagues in the organisation.

The key technical areas covered but not limited to, are as follows,

  • Incident & Request Management
  • 3rd line Technical Application and O/S support
  • Project work involvement
  • 3rd Party Stakeholder engagement
  • Scoping and implementing Technical Solutions


The post holder will support 2nd line technical staff providing guidance and assistance with complex issues whilst developing their knowledge and skills, as well as maintaining our crucial Business as Usual function handling incidents, requests, and changes.


The post holder will have excellent technical and non-technical communication skills and will support all sites throughout the NHS Tayside estate.

This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.

The Digital Team are currently based in Maryfield House, Dundee, however this may change in the future and there is some flexibility, with the team working remotely at times.
