About You:


You will be a highly motivated Flood Risk Engineer with 1-5 years' experience, capable of working alone or as part of a wider team.

It is expected that you will form the backbone of our water team's service offer and you will be relied on to consistentlydeliver results.


  • Please note, this role is not suitable for a recent Graduate._


Having experience in or the desire to work across a range of areas will be vital; this includes hydraulic modelling, hydrology, environmental impact, drainage strategy, climate change assessment and natural flood management.


Good oral and written communications skills are essential, alongside an understanding of and ability to use software such as Micro Drainage, GIS, CAD, TUFLOW, Floor Modeller Pro, etc.

You will also have demonstrable commercial awareness and business developmentskills, as part of this role will require you to seek new opportunities/clients for both the water team and our wider business.


You will be a capable of leading the provision of reports and assessments, as well as identifying and developing complex design solutions for our clients.

It is expected that you will always deliver high levels of client care and you will be required toattend or sometimes lead meetings with the client or third parties in relation to project matters.

Preferred Qualifications:


You will have a BSc/BEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline (examples include Environmental or Civil Engineering, GIS, Geography, Climate Change, Environmental Science but other qualifications will be considered).

Up to £55,000.00 per year
