  Job Purpose

Provide frontline technical support to clients in relation to core EDI products.
Actively enhance and develop WCA/WFI Proprietary Feeds, primarily in SQL.
Play an active role in new product development, trials and the on-boarding process.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a good working knowledge of the data and generate reports and file output based on the feed content. Run Q/A on the databases to ensure maximum coverage at market, country level, asset class level.
• Responsible for the handling of coverage reporting for Sales personnel, data support personnel, data quality personnel and management.
• Implement enhancements to the existing standard feed specification.
• Assist in troubleshooting/support to our operations in the event of delay/failure of feed delivery.
• Monitor the Fixed Income and Documenter browser based products in conjunction with the Head of Fixed Income in order to refine and improve content and functionality.
• Assist in any revisions required to existing client feeds. Ongoing, this may involve the introduction of new content via WCA releases or additional client requirements.
• Provide support to administer WCA restructure releases to the inhouse database and implement database realignments to the inhouse database.
• Assist in the setting up trial content, mapping and subsequent creation of new customised feeds. Play an active role in the onboarding of new clients. This will involve regular contact via conference calls and facetoface meetings as required.
• Ensure that full documentation is present and centralised for all existing WCA/WFI feeds and maintained, including any product amendments and new clients.
• Share database structure knowledge to crosstrain other Sales Support, Product Development and Sales Support Executive team members.
• Build up a solid working knowledge of Fixed Income pricing and its use in last trade and Bond Sigma.
• Provide reports and updates to the Head of Fixed Income as necessary.
• Undertake any training as required for the role.
• Perform the job role in compliance with EDI's security objectives as defined in EDI's policies and procedures.
• To carry out any additional tasks deemed appropriate to the role.

• Education/Qualifications
• A Level or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree

Experience

• 12 Years' experience of having worked with MSSQL/MYSQL
• Project Management experience
• Additional programming languages useful

Skills/Knowledge

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Good understanding of the organisation's goals and objectives.
• Excellent knowledge/understanding of MSSQL/MYSQL
