Shorterm group are currently working with a reputable company in the manufacturing of high-quality, precision components for various industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Defence.

Due to growth, they are seeking two experienced CNC Turners tojoin our expanding engineering team.

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating turning machines, writing new programs, editing pre-written programs, and performing in-process inspections using measuring equipment.

You will also be producing one-off andlow
- to medium-volume precision parts in a range of metals.

Key qualifications include:
Experience in programming, setting and operating turning machines
Writing new CNC programs long hand at the machine
Ability to read engineering drawings and standards
Experience with in-process inspection using measuring equipment

The package is £30,000 - £35,000 per year, a permanent full-time position, a government pension scheme, a health care scheme, excellent working conditions, and free onsite parking.
