Purpose


Working closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager and the Partners to ensure a great experience for our employees and stakeholders.

You will be part of a newly created HR department and will be part of the success of building on the work that has already been done and be an extremely hands on generalist with a 'can do' attitude.


Main Responsibilities

  • You will be the first point of contact for HR queries and you will be dealing with day to day queries (e.g. pay, attendance, policy guidance) and where necessary directing queries to the best person or team to deal with them
  • Managing the administration of the recruitment process from start to finish
  • Monitoring the employees timesheets alongside PeopleHR and actioning and reporting on any discrepancies or queries
  • Supporting with the payroll preparation and ensuring all data is accurate and correct and ready to meet the monthly deadline.
  • Assisting with HR systems administration whilst maintaining the integrity of data and ensuring all HR data is accurate
  • Supporting the starter/ leaver process, including internal communication and system updates. Assisting with the preonboarding process, acting as a point of contact for upcoming new starters ensuring regular communication, including recent newsletters and updates, are sent
  • Assisting with the design, preparation and delivery of internal communications and HR social media across the company (e.g. internal newsletter), taking ownership of relevant aspects as required
  • Supporting the Senior HR Manager with casework, including notetaking and preparation of documents as required.
  • Carry out any adhoc administrative task for the HR team as required.
Skills Required

  • 12 years experience in a HR administrative role
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is required
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR information systems.
  • Ability to show initiative and work within a team.
  • Ability to build good client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload in a timely manner while all the time ensuring we exceed client expectations.
This role will be working from home one day per week after successful completion of your probationary period.

Salary:
£19,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
