Here at CJP Outreach services we support a number of amazing individuals, who all live life to the full and who require care and support to access the community and to fulfil their lives.

We support a range of people, and working for CJP you will be supporting both Adults and Children in the community, this will be for a minimum of one hour, but in general our support is in blocks of hours.

We work to empower the people we support to live a fulfilled life, and we ensure that we develop whole life plans that support in so many ways.

Many of the children we support are developing and will transition to adult services, and we have a track record of supporting people on this journey and we require additional people as the demand for our services becomes greater.

You will find that no two days are the same, one day you may be supporting someone to access the community, the next day you could be supporting someone to work, and then to various activities like sporting events, day trips, going to the park and much more.

The majority of the work we undertake is in the Halifax area and we work in tight geographical areas to reduce travel time and also mileage and petrol costs.

There is an expectation that you are able to support on a weekend and in an evening, but we work on an alternate weekend basis, but the majority of the support we provide is through the day.

About You

For this position you ideally will have a background in care and support, and also you will be able to work on your own initiative and also have an engaging personality, but also be able to deal with situations that may be of a challenge, and therefore understanding how to provide a level of consistency to ensure that situations do not escalate and understanding what trigger points could take place are essential, and ultimately if situations do become a challenge, knowing how to deal in these circumstances is crucial, but the focus is very much on this situation not happening.

About Us
We are an outstanding provider with CQC, and we are outstanding because not only do we provide exceptional support (and we have done so for over 15 years), but the feedback we get from the people we support and their families demonstrates the difference that the people who work for us make to people's lives, comments such as

"Excellent care for my mum nothing too much trouble my opinion one of the best we've used".

But in working for CJP Outreach services you will be working for a company that values its employees

"I have worked for CJP for over 13 years and I am dead proud of the fact that every single person I have supported has gained something new from me"

We value our employees and we have one of the lowest turnover rates in the sector, because we ensure that we train, support and match people we recruit with the people we support, and therefore work on developing long term relationships that provide consistency and support, which are key elements of been an outstanding care and support provider
