About the role:

To support the Leadership Team

  • Responding to enquiries as directed
  • Acting as a point of contact for the Assistant Heads and relaying messages as appropriate
  • Managing the diaries of the Assistant Headteachers
  • Other duties as requested by the Assistant Heads
  • Liaising with parents/students /staff as directed
  • Work with other members of the Admin Team to contribute to the school improvement
process

  • An understanding of and commitment to the safeguarding requirements associated with
such a role

About you:


  • A qualification in Maths and English to GCSE grade 5 / C or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience working within a team (essential)
  • Experience working to tight deadlines (essential)
  • Experience planning your own workload (essential)
  • PA or Administrative experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working with young people, preferably in a school setting (desirable)
Knowledge

  • IT competency (essential)
  • An understanding of and a commitment to the safeguarding requirements associated with
the role (essential)

  • Experience using Google workspace to a competent level (desirable)
  • Experiencing using SIMS (desirable)
  • The ability to work independently and to take direction (essential)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (essential)
  • Excellent organisational skills (essential)
  • High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy (essential)
  • The ability to be creative and innovative (essential)
