Job Title:
Personal Assistant/Carer (Self Employed)

Rate of Pay:
£18 per hour

Hours:
Wednesdays and Fridays around 9am am

The role is based in the client's home in the
CHRISTLETON area of
CHESTER where she lives with her husband.

It will be the Personal Assistant's job to enable the client to live as independently as possible at home.

Good general health, physical fitness and reliability are important, as is the ability to make the client feel respected and comfortable in her own home.

Overview of Tasks:

Duties will include:

Assistance with transfers using a hoist system
Support with personal care, toileting, undressing and putting to bed
Medication support following the client's instructions
Light household tasks if needed

Female required *exempt under the Equality Act 2010

Person Specification

Good knowledge of manual handling. Experience in transferring, using hoist systems
Able to follow instruction under employer's direction.
Honest and trustworthy
Reliable, efficient and flexible
Good sense of humour
Car driver with own vehicle is essential (unless living within walking distance)
Non smoker

It is a requirement, due to the nature of this role, that any applicant must have been vaccinated against COVID 19.
