Description

Search Logistics are recruiting a Freight Forwarder to join one of their clients near Heathrow. This role will report directly to the Senior Operations with a team of Clerks.

This Opportunity will best suit a experienced individual who has a background in Imports and dealing with the movement of goods by Air and Sea Freight (multimodal).

The Role ;

Arranging haulage with shipping Air cargo carriers
Coordinate the importation and/or exportation via Sea,Air
Raise additional customs documentation to ensure the freight can move from country to country along with any consular documentation
Use of Freight systems / understanding
Build effective relationships with 3rd parties and engage with Stakeholders regularly
Data tracking and regularly updated department manager and supervisor with reporting and insightsResponse
Dealing with End to End Operations
Manage all necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, costeffective and lawful execution of all import activities.
Worked in the Freight industry from 2 year +
Understanding of Ocean and Air
Flexibility, positive and outgoing attitude
Systems Understanding : Cargowise, TMS ,CDS, CHIEF, DESTIN8
