One Stop Scouting/Schoolgear is a leading independent uniform, workwear and casual wear provider based in Chelmsford serving Scouting, clubs and businesses nationwide; along with over 30 local primary schools.

We're look for someone to join our busy but rewarding production environment. This is a hands on role, and you will need to be a dynamic individual who is not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in

No previous knowledge of embroidery or garment printing is required, all training will be provided.

Daily tasks will include operations such as:

Operating and maintaining daily our embroidery machinery
Setting up the machine with the correct files and settings for embroidery
Framing garments ready for embroidery
Loading and unloading the machine to ensure correct positions on garments
Quality checking
Ad hoc duties commensurate with the role
Assisting with the garment printing team, as and when required.

Person Specification:

Strong attention to detail
Flexible attitude to work, with ability to adapt quickly to new processes and procedures
Able to remain calm under pressure
Technical attitude for working with machines

Our standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. We offer 20 days holiday and all bank holidays per year

We would be willing to offer flexible working hours to the right applicant.

Job Types:

Pay:
£17,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
