Summary


This role involves carrying out day to day Quality Department functions focused primarily on warehousing and transport activities within Movianto UK.


The tasks associated with this role include; process reviews of key warehousing/transport activities, temperature monitoring, analysing the measurement / testing programmes, executing self-assessment programmes, assisting with the maintenance of ISO9001 Quality Management System, raising and processing Deviations, reviewing Deviation and CAPA Action Plans, ensuring all quality related documentation is kept current and supporting the Quality Manager in training delivery.


The role will receive daily supervisory from the Quality Manager, and technical support from other Quality Departmental functions as required.


Key Responsibilities / Outputs

  • Promoting Movianto UK Quality Management System processes to maintain a high standard of compliance to Good Distribution Practice, to MHRA Guidelines, and to ISO9001.
Carrying out Quality Department activities, including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing depot temperature data and follow up any identified incidents or trends.
  • Supporting the qualification of warehouse storage areas and the completion of temperature mapping reports.
  • Assist in maintaining the calibration and maintenance program of temperature monitoring devices.
  • Completing product sample specifications and compliance checks for clients.
  • Authorise release of products
  • Assisting the Quality Department in ensuring that all Movianto UK documentation is current and up to date.
  • Assist in maintaining the Deviation, CAPA and Audit logs.
  • Issuing and management of Deviations and CAPA's
  • Reviewing completed Deviation and CAPA Reports and undertaking effectiveness checks on the implemented actions.
  • Accompanying/undertaking internal audits of QMS and GDP Compliance.
  • Completion of audit reports for Management approval.
  • Assisting with the hosting of external audits and client visits.
  • Dealing with day to day Quality queries and escalation of any reported/identified issues

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge / Attributes required for the job

  • Advanced Level educated or similar level preferred
  • Experience within Pharmaceutical and/or Healthcare Industry is desirable
  • Familiarisation of ISO 9001 is essential
  • Good working knowledge of GDP Guidelines is desirable
  • Positive attitude to seek additional tasks to develop knowledge and experience
  • Must be able to work in a team and independently demonstrating a high level of performance
  • Able to work under pressure, in a busy and demanding environment, and to strict deadlines
  • Ability to present and communicate with confidence to a wide range of audiences
  • Must be practical with excellent organisational skills, and able to prioritise
  • High attention to detail is required in all areas
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages particularly Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook
