Description
We offer full day care for children aged 0-8 years. Opening times 7:00am-6:00pm all year round Excluding Christmas to New year and bank holidays.


General duties:


  • Organising a consistent daily routine for children, including sufficient meal times, nap times, playtimes, and educational activities
  • Supporting children's development, such as providing activities that develop their understanding of the world and help them learn new skills
  • Monitoring and recording children's progress and their interests to provide more tailored support in the future
  • Spotting any behavioural or developmental problems that arise and discussing these with parents to help get the child extra support
  • Preparing and cooking healthy meals or snacks for children to promote a healthy diet, while also considering specific dietary needs and any potential allergens
  • Supervising children to ensure their safety at all times
  • Introducing basic concepts to children when playing, such as sharing and turntaking
  • Supporting high levels of hygiene, such as changing children out of their dirty clothes or making sure they wash their hands after the toilet
  • Changing nappies and assisting toddlers with potty training

Providing challenging and stimulating age appropriate activities for all children:

  • Taking part in First Aid training as required
  • Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
  • Observe, assess and support children's development and progress
  • Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
  • Following Safeguarding and health and safety regulations to support the nursery to maintain their ofsted standardA GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent
  • A passion for childcare and have a basic understanding of Early Years
  • Some childcare experience whether that is personal or professional.
