Join us in Rochester Protocol Education is thrilled to partner with a Specialist Autism School in the area, actively seeking a committed Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position.

Situated in Rochester, our partnered Specialist Autism School is committed to delivering outstanding education and support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated challenges.

The school prioritises fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.

Your Impactful Responsibilities:

Empower students in their social and emotional engagement with learning, promoting independence.
Collaborate seamlessly as a team member, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Advocate for the inclusion of all students, fostering a sense of belonging within the school community.
Support class teachers in establishing a supportive and relaxed working environment.

Your Unique Qualifications:

Showcase your understanding of communication, attachment theory, and SEMH needs in the classroom.
Bring experience or transferable skills relevant to supporting students with ASD.
Provide satisfactory references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
