Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical projects from initiation to completion, including installation, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Plan and schedule daily tasks, assigning responsibilities to technicians based on their expertise and experience.
- Conduct regular onsite inspections to monitor project progress, assess quality, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
- Provide technical support and guidance to mechanical technicians, assisting in complex problemsolving and resolving technical queries.
- Collaborate with the project manager to ensure efficient project execution and effective communication throughout the process.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of mechanical materials and equipment, coordinating with the procurement team when necessary.
- Cultivate a positive and productive team culture, motivating and training technicians to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, recognizing outstanding contributions and addressing areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and costsaving measures, implementing best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanical supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the mechanical industry.
- Indepth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and components, with a solid understanding of mechanical codes and safety standards.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and certifications are required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and manage a team.
- Exceptional problemsolving abilities and the capacity to handle unexpected challenges.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced work environment.
- A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of project execution.
- Flexibility to work in various locations across South Wales as per project requirements.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

£38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
