Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified social worker or similar to join the LAC/Leaving Care team within West Yorkshire as a Personal Advisor.


You will be working closely with the social workers within the team to offer support and low level intervention to young people within the care system who will be in need of support to transition into leaving care.


You will be working predominantly with young people who are 16+, and will be required to form and maintain a trusting working relationship with each individual to encourage positive outcomes for their future.

You will support the social workers where needed in terms of assessments and reporting, and completing joint visits.

This role will be for a minimum of 6 months, and likely to be extended.


To be considered for this role you need:

  • Either social work qualified or have some education within health and social care
  • Car driver and ability to travel is ideal
  • DBS (provided by Eden Brown Synergy)
  • Good work ethic
