Salary:
up to £40K
Reeds client are a family-run company seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Workshop Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the workshop team on a daily basis, setting objectives and allocating work as required.
Repair and maintain all vehicles, plant, and machinery as directed on or offsite, following ISO procedures and utilising technology used at KPS.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements of the KPS fleet, including DVSA, FORS, Operations Licence, and MID.
Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers, whilst managing accidents and vehicle incidents by working directly with insurers.
Manage the workshop budget, including stock control, purchasing, and hiring of plant and vehicles.
Undertake training to agreed standards by senior management, adhere to company safety regulations, policies, and safe working practices, and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role with proven working experience of heavy plant and machinery

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members with a "can do" attitude

Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, managers, and customers in a polite and professional manner

Solution-focused with excellent problem-solving skills, including welding experience

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, full, clean driving licence, and able to adhere to all Health & Safety policies.
**_This is a full-time permanent position, with 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary is up to £40K, commensurate with experience._
