Salary £23,000 plus 6% pension (Full-time)
Scottish Swimming is one of the leading sports organisations in Scotland. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Finance Officer to join our Finance Team.

Based at the University of Stirling Sports in Stirling, you will work alongside the Finance Manager to ensure an effective and robust finance department.

We are looking for someone who is innovative and has the enthusiasm and positive attitude to generate and drive forward change and progress within a small finance team environment.

You will be driven and demonstrate experience working in a demanding role, have good communication, influencing skills, attention to details skills, as well as the ability to be a team player.

Key Functions:

Experience and knowledge navigating an online financial software for example Xero or Sage.
Manage Accounts Payable to ensure that all payments and expenses are processed, verified and reconciled in line with the company's policies.
Manage Accounts Receivable to ensure that all income and invoices are processed, verified and reconciled.
Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls
Build relationships with customers to ensure an effective credit control system
Provide nominal reports to staff and aquatic sports.
Assist with the continuous improvement on systems and processes to ensure the finance team operates efficiently.
