An exciting opportunity has come up for a Logistics Administrator at our Kelburn office, Port Glasgow, who will report to the Head of Logistics.


Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers and be a key point of contact in the absence of the Head of Logistics, for any critical faults or ongoing maintenance issues.
  • Communicating
with both
internal and external customers in a professional and
friendly way.

  • Presenting
  • Providing
administrative support to the wider logistics
team.

  • Arranging
both internal and external training for all personnel on site.

  • Arranging
travel, vehicle, and accommodation requirements where necessary.

  • Maintaining
relevant databases and spreadsheets.

  • Vehicle
Maintenance
and checks completed by engineers.

  • Vehicle
Mot's, RFL, Servicing and ongoing scheduled repairs to be kept up to date from
relevant fleet schedule.

  • Engineers
overtime to be approved weekly and passed to payroll.

  • Accounts
register, national toll payments and London LEZ payments all kept in line with
company daily requirements.

  • Providing
any other administration support as and when required.


Key Skills & Experience:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of various IT packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Competence to work efficiently on own initiative as well as part of a wider team
  • Ability to work to tight timescales
  • Customer service and or administration experience
  • Working in a fastpaced manufacturing/security environment

Qualifications:


  • Driving License (preferred as travel to other sites may be required)
  • Certificate in Business Administration (preferred)

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
