FRS have been enlisted by a well respected business with the Logistics Industry to assist with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant.

This is a permanent position, offering hybrid working and operating from their site close to Jct 22 of the M1 and M42 and therefore easily accessible from across both East and West Midlands.

This position will work as part of a finance team of 25+ staff assisting with the below.

Role Overview.

Production of monthly management accounts
Productions of board reports and slides
Business partnering with key stakeholders bring the numbers to life
Weekly flash reporting
Balance sheet reconciliations
Financial reporting and performance reviews with key partners
Annual budgets
Quarterly forecasts

Main duties and responsibilities:

Production of accurate management accounts to a deadline
Strong analysis to aid decision making
Review monthly performance with directors and department heads on their numbers
Production of board reports
Production on financial review packs
Production of accurate weekly flash reports
Ensuring Balance sheets are updated monthly and supported to aid auditability
Ensuring intercompany transactions are recorded and are eliminated upon consolidation
Provide key business decision support on the Europe and International. This role will involve travel at the request of the Group CFO
Ensuring the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes follows and achieves the desired timescales
Assisting in the finance function to achieve its goals, ambitions and objectives and become best in class

In return ongoing development and progression, study support for those not qualified and a competitive basic salary of £35,000 to £45,000 + Bonus can be offered.
