ANALYTICS ENGINEER (ANALYST)

MANCHESTER (HYBRID)

UP TO £33,000
This role is a rare opportunity for a highly motivated junior analyst to work for one of the country's biggest sports teams


THE COMPANY


The company are a group owning multiple football clubs around the world and look to dominate on the pitch across the globe, whilst also creating and maintaining an established multi-billion-pound business model.

Their portfolio continues to grow, as doesits clubs' fanbases as a result of teams' success, as their social media following increases, along with stadium expansions.


THE ROLE
The day to day of the role will involve the following:

  • A mix of an analyst and engineer, using SQL and data visualisation
  • Providing data pipelines to provide analysis, and using ETL to put it into clear tables
  • Analysing fan's engagement and transactional activity to understand their demands and address improvements to be made, through IFX.
  • Using data to improve customer analytics and propensity modelling
  • Represent the club in the most professional way possible

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 12 years in an Insight Analyst or Data Engineering role
  • SQL
  • Python or R
  • Interest in football desirable
  • Willingness to keep learning
  • Passion for data
