Description
Our client a Blue Chip household name within the Engineering & Energy sector require a Qualified Finance Business Partner to join their Commercial Finance team, initially on a Temp Contract to cover both Management Accounting activities and Finance BusinessPartnering

  • Accurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts, ensuring they are produced on a true and fair basis. This will include posting appropriate journals (accruals, prepayments).
  • Production of the monthly Performance Reports, providing high quality commentary and insightful analysis.
  • Attend monthly management meetings with the relevant business units,
  • Lead on analysis of projects, including full analysis of costs to date vs the budgets/forecasts, and implement an accurate forecasting process.
  • Prepare the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Identify opportunities and areas for attention & recommend options for action including areas of cost reduction and best practice, governance and controls.
  • Support and, when required, deputise for the Finance Manager
  • Qualified accountant. ACA / ACCA / CIMA or late stage Studier
  • Track record of delivering results and challenging the norm.
  • Highly numerate with a strong commercial aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
