ASSISTANT MANAGER | RETAIL | STRATFORD UPON AVON | Up to £28,000 plus generous bonus and benefits


We are looking for an Assistant Manager for this high profile big box retailer who are enjoying a massive period of growth and success in Stratford Upon Avon.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to bring drive, enthusiasm and the highest possible retailservice standards at all times.


Responsible for a strong team, you'll be tasked with driving forward both turnover and revenues from the store based on lean principles.

Keeping a close focus on KPIs, including wages, wastage and shrinkage will form a key element of the role, together withnon-financials such as customer service/feedback, internal audit and standards and compliance.


Responsibilities;

  • Supporting the management of the day to day running of the store
  • Drive the store in achieving company KPI's
  • Ensuring your team delivers exceptional customer service
  • Delivering exemplary standards in store presentation, stock control, shrinkage and administration compliance
  • Complying with all Health & Safety policies
  • Have a proven track record in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Enjoy being on the shop floor
  • No sitting in the office for you
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be target driven and customer service orientated
  • Be highly motivated and ambitious
  • Be a self starter with a can do attitude


As an Assistant Manager you will be a credible presence in your store and must be able to support colleagues across your area.

The successful Retail Manager will be able to make commercial decisions to benefit the store and bring about the required changeas and when needed.
