Our Place Bar and Kitchen is one of the main venues for students at Liverpool Hope University (Hope Park).

The 220 cover fast food service restaurant and bar is a busy operation serving a menu of hand stretched pizza, using made freshly made daily in house dough, and all fresh ingredient toppings, cooked front of house in our theatre style pizza kitchen in addition to this we also serve a freshly made gourmet burger menu, loaded fries, sides, vegan dishes and salads.

From mid-afternoon through the evening the drinks bar opens, serving all usual drinks you would expect to find along cocktails, coffee's, milkshakes and seasonal promotions.

Working closely with eat at hope team you will assist the Chef Manager of the venue with ensuring that the offering that we provide is relevant to the array of night-time social activities that are planned each term.

The successful applicant will assist with the designing the menu for this outlet which provides high quality product, on trend and at competitive prices.

The holder of this role will ensure that the quality of each food or drink order that leaves the kitchen and bar is of a high standard.

Along with daily supervisory duties, this role is busy and fast paced.

For this hands on role applicants will need to have flair, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility with working patterns and a professional manner along with a commitment to assist the Chef Manager in ensuring that the outlet is professionally and successfully operated.

You will show a real passion for food, delivering excellent customer service.

We are looking for a well-motived person who keeps their eye on current food trends with a particular focus on student food trends; you will be at the forefront of promoting new and exciting ideas within this restaurant.

You will also ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory codes of practice and ensure all staff understand legislative requirements and are fully compliant, including health and safety, food hygiene and bar and entertainment licences.


Salary:
£24,248.00-£26,444.00 per year
