Responsibilities/Main Duties:
To plan and deliver disability focused sport coaching sessions (including gym) on selected days/evenings throughout each week.
To plan and deliver inclusive sport (including gym) sessions to diverse members of the South Leeds community on selected days/evenings each week.
Maintain and develop new partnerships and relationships within the local communities to market and deliver its recreational disability Sport programmes.
Develop, coordinate, and contribute to the delivery of a local recreation sport programmes (including gym) for adults, families, and children and young people.
Understand how to use effective leadership to deliver coaching sessions that are fun and engaging for the participants whilst understanding that they will become a role model and will need to display the correct behaviors.
Help to develop the local workforce and community volunteers, and build capacity through bespoke education course delivery, expanding access to provision to upskill the volunteers and paid workforce in the designated area to ensure sustainability of the local programme.
To contribute to the effective implementation of Hamaras Safeguarding Operating Standard.
To support the adoption of new digital systems across grassroots sport participation.
To comply with Hamaras rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance that are in place
Organisational Requirements
General:
- Work as part of the team to seek feedback and continually improve the service
- Work in close partnership with practices and other PCN staff to ensure joinedup working and smooth referral routes.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Have a Flexible approach to working which will include occasional evenings and weekends.
- Undertake any other additional tasks as reasonably deemed appropriate.
