About the role


The Creative Content Lead reports into the Head of Bids will work closely with cross-functional teams, to develop and execute initiatives that enhance the company's bid submissions and customer facing documents aligning with the company's overall brand and business objectives.

As the Creative Content Lead, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Analyse our target markets to design compelling content which resonates with customer requirements
  • Monitor competitor and industry activity and trends to improve the effectiveness of JFD material
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers to support JFD initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the company to manage, develop and execute stimulating content and visual material including Executive Summaries, messaging, written content, graphics, websites, collateral, videos, presentations and bespoke documentation to support Bid submission documents and enable sales and marketing initiatives
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of content initiatives, using data and metrics to inform future strategies
  • Assist with the management of the company's external brand image and messaging, ensuring consistency across all bid submissions and touchpoints including social media, events and exhibitions.

What do you need?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing / business or a related field
  • Substantial experience in brand management, with a track record of developing and executing successful brand initiatives
  • Experience working within the defence industry and knowledge of defence procurement processes essential
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams and building relationships with third parties and industry influencers
  • Strong and proven understanding of digital marketing, social media and web design with experience using data and analytics to inform content strategies
  • Strong level of customer understanding and previous experience in a customer facing role beneficial
  • Proficiency in marketing and project management software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Asana
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and storytelling.
