TotalEnergies Charging Solutions UK (previously known as Source London) are currently looking for a Dispatch & Field Technician to join their team based in Greenford, West London.

We are one of the largest providers of on street charge points in London.
Maintaining a network of over 2000 charge points with a reliability rate of 98%.

Each site has a Feeder pillar and between 1 and 5 charge points. The sites are mostly located curb side on public streets. Allowing EV users to park and charge in any bay with its dedicated charge point. The Charge points require a yearly safety check andbi yearly RCD safety test.

During the rest of the year we maintain a responsive and preventative maintenance program to keep the charge points and feeder pillars healthy and safe to use.

Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

Dispatching of engineers and formulation of route for engineers to allow for mínimal travel time.
Monitoring the IMS, EVP and Ticketing Systems and assigning interventions to Engineers.
Carry out the commissioning of equipment on site in accordance with Company rules
Carry out the repair and maintenance of equipment on site in accordance with Company rules
Installation and repair, with a knowledge of electrical requirements, rules and H&S
Carrying out diagnosis and fault finding which may include the fitting new parts on equipment, reimaging the OS, configuring and restoration of IT parameters
Perform relevant administrative task after intervention
Perform preventative, corrective maintenance of equipment on site
Areas of intervention include but are not limited to: electrical charging point, hardware diagnosis via personal computer, software diagnosis via personal computer, network diagnosis
Carry out the half yearly Safety Checks on the equipment following the company procedures.
Basic knowledge in IT, including Office Pack basic practice, computer environment, pc and network would be advantageous.
3 years + experience as maintenance technician
A clean and valid driver's license
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform the right fix required to correct the matter
Knowledge of working with Electrical circuits and equipment
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and to use all PPE provided for those conditions
