An opportunity has arisen for a full time, highly motivated and resilient band 6 Fire Safety Advisor, primarily to:
Provide comprehensive fire safety advice to stakeholders, the Trust board, employees and contractors. Assist the Fire Safety Manager in maintaining the fire risk assessment programme across three hospital sites.

Deliver face-to-face fire safety training to trust employees, providers and contractors.

Represent the fire safety team as part of the Emergency Planning & Resilience Forum, including the Trust Health & Safety Committee when required.

Respond to fire calls whilst on duty and act as an advisor to duty site managers.

Respond to Major Incidents where required as part of the Hospital Control Team in the absence of the Trust Fire Safety Manager.
