We are looking for a Night Shift assistant to facilitate the needs of the CNC operators on shift in a busy engineering environment.

You will be working Monday - Thursday 4.15pm - 4.30am and Friday 4.15pm - 9pm

Your induction period is likey to be 4 weeks of day shift in order to train with knowledgable staff. This will be Monday-Friday also.

£11.50 per hour +30% night shift premium

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of machines for use at the beginning of the shift
  • Swarf clearing throughout the shift
  • Assisting with collecting stock and tooling as required by the operators
  • Keeping the general areas clean and tidy throughout the night

About you:

  • Used to working in a fast paced environment
  • Previous shop floor experience in a manufacturing factory or warehousing environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Able to commute easily and punctually to the Andover area
  • Looking for a night shift position that fits with your current lifestyle/commitments
  • Committed and reliable with a good conscientious work ethic

The role is on a temp to perm basis - the successful applicant will be a permanent member of staff once the temp term has been completed satisfactorily.
