Keedwell Scotland is seeking a motivated Yardman/Shunter with mechanical knowledge to join our team. The Yardman is responsible for minor maintenance and repair of Keedwell Scotland equipment.This includes, but is not limited to, replacing ratchets, fitting internal straps, external straps and buckles to trailers, operating a forklift, shunting vehicles and trailers for load preparation.
The Yardman will also be responsible for assisting in minor repairs at local customer sites.Qualifications
- Previous related Shunter Driving experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Class 1 desirable but not essential
- Mechanical knowledge preferred
- Can do attitude
- Ability to operate articulated vehicle & trailer combinations in a safe and timely manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to respond to management requests and perform duties according to instructions
Working Conditions:
The job is primarily at Bothwell G71 8DA with occasional requirement to attend to other local Keedwell Scotland and Customer Sites.
Typical Working Hours:
Dayshift Negotiable
