Packing and Production Operative

Do you enjoy working as part of a team to ensure top-quality products are offered to customers? Are you willing to learn new skills and processes and capable of maintaining a tidy work area? Then we want to hear from you.

The Role
You will deliver reliable and consistent support with general production processes during the running of carton finishing services.

This would include die-cutting, window patching and carton gluing and you must have effective communication skills and be able to work well with others.

Duties will include assisting the machine minder/s during the set-up process and during production runs, monitoring and checking the quality of items while packing production runs, lifting packed boxes and stacking on pallets, making up quality sample boxes for specific production runs, following hygiene requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.

Skills Required:

Friendly and helpful personality.
High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
Knowledge and awareness of health and safety and FSSC hygiene requirements would be beneficial.
Willing to learn.
