Graphic Designer Role in Milton Keynes

Location:
Milton Keynes based with hybrid working 2/3 split


Salary:
£28-35k dep exp (maybe a little more for someone special)

Our client is a global organisation operating in the Health and Wellbeing sector. They were established in 2002 in the US and they operate in 26 countries around the globe. They have a vacancy for a Graphic Designer to join their marketing team. The role reports into the Creative Lead and works alongside a copywriter to complete the creative department.


Required skills:


  • Preferably around 3 years of professional Graphic Designer workrelated experience.
  • Expert skills with design software including Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong design, layout, and typographic skills.
  • Experience with social media content design.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately prepare files for web or print.
  • Familiar with print processes and prepress workflows.
  • Able to work independently or in a team.
  • Able to thrive in a fast pace, deadlineoriented environment.
  • Periodic travel for events may be required.

Responsibilities:


  • Research, develop and create graphic design and production work for new and existing projects that address business objectives in a timely, costeffective manner and represent, strengthen and evolve the Company's brand.
  • Assist design colleagues in crafting highly conceptual ideas that align with organization guidelines.
  • Support team members on production assignments and projects.
  • Develop professional knowledge of Company's brand, culture and processes.
  • Partner with design colleagues and project coordinators to update and maintain a consistent workflow of existing projects.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings related to assigned projects.
  • Work with team in implementing and maintaining brand intent, design quality and business objectives to strengthen the brand.
  • Stay abreast with current design trends and software.
  • Manage and work with team and internal partners to keep files and image library organized.
